I’m proud to present my first album, beginning with my debut single “Despreciado Me Voy.” This song holds a very special place in my heart, as it was originally written by my grandfather, Juan Navarrete Curiel, and made famous by the legendary Javier Solís, later re-recorded by Lupillo Rivera. It’s an honor to bring this timeless piece back to life and continue my grandfather’s musical legacy through my own voice and interpretation.
Herencia is my first complete album, named after the inheritance I’ve received from my Mexican culture, my godfather, and my mother’s legacy. This album represents everything that has been passed down to me — the traditions, the emotions, and the sounds that have shaped who I am. I’m very proud to share Herencia, a heartfelt collection that honors my roots and celebrates the richness of Mexican traditional music.
Tarde de Junio is inspired by a true story of my mother’s love — a bittersweet memory wrapped in the soft melancholy of a June afternoon. Through this song, I sought to honor the depth of her emotions and the beauty found in love’s fragility. I can only hope that my interpretation does justice to the heartfelt story she once lived.
